rip off! Do not trust the seller as this is not a promotional item. There is no brand name on the hair straightener and wand like the photo. I have bought this item before and have always felt heavier and it has the brand name on it but this new one that has arrived is a cheap fake. Definitely not a legal product. Don't waste your time.

I love how beautiful the curls look but when I curled my hair it left a horrible chemical smell. It was my fault that I burned my hand, but it was the worst burn I've ever had and it was also the lowest temperature. I also have small hands and this glove is too tight for my liking. Sticks are effective for curling/straightening hair but the smell and burn I get from it and the glove make me give it a 2/5. Edit: I have a burn scar and it's discolored.

Attention, this item gets very hot! And there are no clips for irons, as per the instructions included in the box. Wear gloves when working with the iron. It is bulky and in no way mistakes the hair for a nice tight curl! I used iron once, burned myself already on the lowest level trying to figure out how to use it! So if you need an attachable iron to keep your hair curling, this product is not for you! I haven't used the straightener yet, so I can't comment on its effectiveness.

I love both the straightener and the curling iron. My hair is so curly, coarse and frizzy, it's just a complete mess. Stab. I've had him for several months now. I love the magic wand, it gives me beautiful curls. Tight, wavy and very loose, just the way I want it. It heats up very quickly and is very hot. However, the rectifier will fail fairly quickly in my opinion, it didn't heat up as you would think from day one. I've had several much better straighteners than this one, even Revlon does it better.
