Part works fine since December 16

Paid on December 16, 2015 $12.22. Good fit for 2003 Honda Civic LX sedan. The cost of this aftermarket product is cheaper than the original Honda part. Has been working properly since 12/16/2015. The only thing I have to complain about is the rattling noise every time the engine warms up for the first time. There is no noise when the car is moving. I'm not sure if the rattle is the main feature of the part that indicates when to replace if the rattle doesn't occur (meaning the rings are stuckโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Fits and works for replacement parts

Replaced it on my 2005 Tundra. Fits and works well. The engine is now quieter. The original has almost 260,000 miles on the odometer, I hope this one will last as long!

Pros
  • Special app to ensure proper fit for your vehicle
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Feels just like the original

Feels just like the original. There doesn't seem to be any difference. Installation is moderate due to location but doable for normal DIY use with jacks and wrenches. My old one isn't completely broken, so no real measurable or expected improvements, but definitely no MPG loss when I installed it. recommended.

Pros
  • Made with quality materials
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Just spend the extra cash on an OEM Honda PCV

I installed this Beck/Arnley PCV in my 1.7 liter Civic for a scheduled service and it immediately made a noise like that at idle what I would call cricket noise. . Almost like a slightly loose belt or a bad bearing in an alternator or power steering pump. Replaced this with a new OEM Honda PCV and the noise was gone. Beck/Arnley usually has a good inventory of auto parts and often repackages genuine parts, but not in this case. It also has a gold color while the original Honda looks like zincโ€ฆ
