Good quality part with plenty of lube and metal clamps

I choose this to replace the split boot on a 2004 STi. The OEM axles were still in good condition (no clicking) and far superior to the remanufactured ones, so I would have preferred to keep the axle and just replace the boot. Replacing the boot is a tricky task, so be prepared. Installing and removing the axle is 80% of the work, replacing the boot is not that difficult. Find an axle removal guide to see what tools are needed. Changing the boot in particular also requires a small flat head…

Pros
  • CV (constant speed)
Cons
  • Available in black only

like original

Perfect fit. Just like the original. There is nothing more to say about this simple product. Perfect replacement for Mazda 6 2003.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Pretty good value for money

Not the best quality. But it does what it needs to do, which is to keep the fat inside. He does this job well. Although a month is hardly enough to say whether he will continue to do this job.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Keep calm

Honestly spend more money on OEM parts like this. I tried to save some money like everyone else and I regret it. On my 05' Forester, this boot is loose or just as thick as the original. Clamps are cheap general-purpose tapes that don't seal any better than cable ties. (I've tried both.) On my '05 it leaves gaps between the mainshaft housing and grease all over my exhaust. (NOT GOOD) It's currently double wrapped with tape and zip ties to keep the fat in!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Hard to say

Excellent trunk not many clamps

This is an internal trunk for a 2006 Mazda 5, driver's side. also got an external trunk. Removing the axle is a tricky job that requires several special tools. First you need to remove the axle nut, which requires a large head, a breaker, and a very long extension handle. then the knocking of the axle shaft comes on the hub. Then disconnect the axle from the gearbox. If you're lucky you can do it with a crowbar, but you'll most likely need a fork and an upside-down hammer like I did. Then you…

  • This is amazing
