the engine ran like new. I wasn't sure what the sensor was.

I replaced both sensors on my 2004 Nissan Quest when it had the following symptoms: check engine light, pass light on, engine stalls in low idle. Sensors, the engine ran like new. I wasn't sure which of the two sensors it was, but for the price, it's worth replacing both, as well as a couple of bulbs (if one dies, the other will soon die). All the work took about 1/2 hour to replace both.

Pros
  • Application specific to this vehicle
Cons
  • Not bad but...

initially worked fine for a few miles test ride

Installed, initially worked fine for a few miles test ride. With the car parked it was difficult to start the next morning after suffering serious handling problems that stretched for several kilometres. Parked the car, started well, drove a few miles well, then missed by 50-65. Same code returned (replace sensor bank 2). Parked the car for a few hours, it healed on its own. I think you have to disconnect the battery for a while and the brain will reboot for the spare sensor to work properly.

Pros
  • Includes corrosion resistant fittings and coatings
Cons
  • Faulty

Fixed my parts problem

Used on the '04 G35 sedan. Thanks to him, my car started up again and started to function smoothly. However, my machine still gave out the same code. Pretty simple setup, not much could go wrong. So I'm not sure why the code is still showing. Anyway, my car is working again so I'm happy. That was also about a year ago. EDIT: The code disappeared after I cleaned it up and never came back. See you this week. Same code, same symptoms. While this part solved my problem, it definitely didn't take…

Pros
  • Designed to withstand under hood conditions
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Not an easy project, here's a warning

The 2010 Pathfinder requires you to remove the hood and top engine cover (nice cover) and STILL hold the engine. Reach all the way to the right (driver's side). IF and ONLY IF you have a small arm, you can gently reach out to the passenger side with your left hand. But here's a warning. If you move the hoses too much, the heater hose assembly can break very easily. And to find this assembly is PITA. Mine was very fragile and fell apart in my hands. part for 150€. If you're new to mechanics…

Pros
  • True to form, fit and function including magnet strength
Cons
  • Parts availability
