🔄 Enhanced Beck Arnley Thermo Fan Switch - Model 201-1650 Review

My '99 CRV was overheating and had all sorts of fan problems. I checked the CPU because the check engine light was on. It showed I needed it so I replaced it and now my car is running great! The installation itself is pretty easy too.

My Honda's fan would not turn on and the temp sensor started to rise as I sat in the driveway. This indicated that my general temperature unit had failed a few years ago so I ordered this from Revain to replace the failed sensor. Now everything is back to normal

Fits perfectly on my 2002 Honda Accord Value Kit. I noticed my engine temperature rising above normal and traced the problem to the fan switch. Replacement prices at local auto parts stores were too high, so I turned to Revain. This one fits perfectly, great price and hasn't given me any problems so far.

Fans wouldn't come on on my 04 RSX. Found out it was the switch and replaced it. This vehicle requires the coolant to be drained to be replaced as it is located in the radiator. Drained, replaced, filled with coolant and everything works fine. Do not overtighten or the seal may break. Simply beautiful and cozy. The fan has been running flawlessly ever since. Works and fits just as well as OEM.

Purchased 05/17/2021, installed 05/20/2021. 06/27/2021 check engine light came on. Went to an auto parts store for a free reading and came out with error code P0118. I went home, checked the sensor, which is no longer working. The return window was closed on 06/16/2021. DO NOT BUY unless you want to go to the trouble of buying another sensor and spend a few hours of your time replacing the damn thing.

For 1998 Honda Civic. Pretty easy to install. I drained the coolant from the radiator first to avoid spilling coolant when replacing it. The radiator hose can be pushed back about an inch to make room for a wrench. It has an o-ring, but I use some Hondabond sealant or ultra gray sealant on the threads as insurance. This fixed my radiator fan not turning on when it should, 195F. The old one stopped working and I found this to be the reason. Note that the size of outlet required to remove the old one and install the new one is 15/16 inches. On my Honda v6 and I am sure many on other Honda v6 vehicles are losing coolant if that is all you are doing and are not already replacing some hoses or doing other work related to the cooling system that involves draining the cooling system require lose coolant. I bought this for my 2005 Acura TSX. This switch turns on the fans when the coolant temperature reaches around 195F and still works fine. The only issue I had was with the o-ring (seal) that comes with this switch. The OEM service manual says to torque the derailleur to 17 ft.lbs, which is what I did.
