I keep coming back for this paper.

My daughter fell in love with calligraphy when she was 13 years old. My daughter fell in love with calligraphy at the age of 13. , I have put together a calligraphy set with each addition to make it special. This training ground is always on. I haven't found anything more suitable or easier to work with.

Great value for money watercolor paper

I bought this calligraphy exercise book because it was the cheapest notebook I could find and had good reviews so far. The paper is fairly translucent, making it easy to follow the instructions that come with the front. Most pens I've used bleed through the paper, but there was no noticeable bleeding. For reference, I've used this notebook primarily with Tombow Brush Pens (Double Tip and Fude) and Faber Castell Pitt Pens.

Smooth Paper for Calligraphy Practice

Perfectly smooth writing surface for calligraphy practice! The paper is translucent enough to see the grid line patterns provided, which are accurate and excellent so you don't have to draw your own guides and then erase them. I had no smearing when using "ElegantWriter" markers and speedball steel nibs (size C-1 is a good starting point) dipped in ink (Speedball "Super Black" ink). Of course, paper is only good for one side. If you want a finished calligraphy artwork after practice, purchase…

A rare disappointment from bee paper

This is a training booklet so I wasn't expecting thick and quality paper. However, the ink on this practice pad tends to bleed more than other calligraphy pads I've tried before. This is a disappointment because Bee Paper is my favorite paper brand (it's my favorite sketchbook brand). Also, it's so thin my ink bleeds and makes a mess on the writing surface. Not to mention my sharper teeth can go through the side with certain upward strokes. This paper just won't cut! The Strathmore Calligraphy…

Practice Paper

I am new to calligraphy. I've been trying to find my hand intermittently for three years. I switched to fountain pens a few years ago. Then I saw a gentleman writing invitations to a party he was throwing; I liked the results. I did a little research and initially bought pens from Pilot and Lamy. Then I learned two things about paper. First, you need paper that absorbs ink easily, but not so much that you can get feathers (bleeding of the ink outside of the original pen stroke). Second…
