Not bad, but there are some issues

I'm not entirely dissatisfied with this notebook (otherwise it certainly deserves a lower rating), but it's not as good as I'd like it to be. The paper seems to hold up well to multiple washes and doesn't crease as easily as other brands I've used, especially with excess water or debris. The texture is pleasant and uniform, which promotes an easy flow. However, the paper itself doesn't feel as thick and heavy as other 140-pound papers. watercolor paper that I used. Newcomers beware: do not buy this paper!

I bought this paper because it was cheap and I was curious about bee paper and didn't know it wasn't 100% cotton. This is student work, but despite this it is of very low quality. I couldn't even wash it off without getting a weird smudge effect - like the paper was repelling ink or something. All my inks are professional quality and I've never had problems like this with paper before. I also had a serious problem with warping - the paper would warp with even the slightest amount of ink. Not comparable to other watercolor paper for student classes

As I progress with watercolor painting, I hear/read one thing again: paints can be cheap, brushes can be cheap, but you need good paper. It's not very good paper.
