Well done. Powered by beeswax.

Used to craft 1 oz beeswax sticks for resale. The form worked perfectly. I had to put them in the fridge for about 10 minutes to complete the chilling process and allow the wax to pop out easily. The only suggestion is to buy more than 1 mold.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Fragile

Will not buy again: Kraft

The mold is plastic which has deformed the second time I used it with the melting method. Very frustrating, I thought it was silicone but I tried it and was very upset. The one ounce size is no longer correct due to the swelling of the plastic.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

Poorly Done

I returned my product, the second and fourth stems shrunk after pouring the wax into the mold. Wax was properly heated. The product easily deforms/shrinks. Buy some silicones from an apiary. Unreliable. Best suited for the manufacture of very low temperature products.

Pros
  • Candle Making
Cons
  • Expensive

Works great for me.

It works great for me! I was a bit concerned after reading the reviews but I had no problems. It's the same plastic as an ice cube tray, but I don't pour my wax when it's super super hot (because it shrinks more), I wait for it to cool a bit and then pour it (like a candle). I love this shape.

Pros
  • handicrafts and sewing
Cons
  • I'll write later

Keep melted wax between 127 and 145 degrees

As long as you stay within the temperature range, this mold works great. Beeswax melts slowly, but at 127 degrees. With this shape you are safe up to 145 degrees. So get a cheap digital thermometer and keep it in that range and in your kit. Also found that if I carefully put it in the fridge at 35-37 degrees it cools down just in time for the next batch, maybe in the freezer for 5 minutes at the end. Do not immediately place wet wax in the freezer or cracking and expansion will occur.

Pros
  • Molds
Cons
  • Crumpled
