Inexpensive, fulfills its purpose. Have used it several times. The hose cutter is handy, but the press saves a lot of time and headaches

Works as advertised. Although not necessary (the wire can be cut and inserted into the connector by hand), the cutter ensures a quick, straight and clean cut (it's important that it's straight), and the press ensures that the Connector is pressed slightly into the line. It just makes the job easier. I'm glad I bought it.

Cable vise is in fixed position with cable in unit. The crank came loose and I couldn't get it loose. I had to use a vise to turn the handle. Got it fixed again but don't overtighten now or it will break. I think there is a metal option that would be better than flimsy plastic. Although the cable cutter is great.
