Outgoing quality excellent. The length of the cable is also good as it runs across my TV. The switch seems flimsy, but I don't think it's going to break any time soon. However, one of the most important aspects of this product is the actual plug. The fork is not one of those that lay flat against the wall. I have provided an image for reference

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Empty

Pretty stupid design.

I would rate it better if the forks were oriented differently. It's okay if you use old school plugs, like lamp cords or something similar. But if you're using something with a power adapter, like a phone or Alexa, there's only room for four plugs. For some stupid reason, all the remaining plugs are right next to each other.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Unreliable

Saved my wife for power strips and surge protectors

My wife was in bed minding her own business when a light flashed from our socket and exploded. Looking around in horror, she saw that one of the phone chargers had exploded, leaving a huge black trail where it had been plugged into the socket. I think the broken wire was pressing against the metal and that was the cause. Despite the explosion, not only were the other cables in good working order, with no damage to the device, but the surge protector was still working.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Can't rate this highly enough - $7,000 worth of hardware saved

Literally CANNOT overrate this product. Both the laptops and the heating pad burned out in the last light and while the MacBook's power supply and heating pad need to be replaced, our leather recliner is in like new condition, my laptop is in like new condition and most importantly, damn Apple - thinks-them-items - Gold Macbook in perfect condition except for the power adapter. I have three of these at home and they all hooked up my main electronics and I'm so lucky to have them. Buy now before

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Some issues

Works as advertised and the spacing between sockets makes it MUCH more convenient to use than a standard power strip with "wall warts" and transformers of various shapes and sizes. The left-to-right orientation of the outlets, rather than top-to-bottom, is another useful design feature. It's like someone at Belkin really took note of the problem with using those old-school power strips and did something about it. The standard RJ-45 phone jacks are a bonus for those who still have a phone/fax…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Vulgarity

So far so good good for surge protector

I've been using it for more than a month and so far so good. The only problem I had was when I first received the product. Some outlets wouldn't work because when I tried to plug something in, it was like something was blocked from the inside. At first I found it frustrating to plug my chargers into an outlet, but after that initial push it became easier to use later on, so I guess it was just because it was new? My husband has the exact same power cord and has never felt like this on first use

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some little things

Good product that has lasted me for several years.

Buy a pair of these for their above average surge capacity and longevity. Do your homework on this container. Compare numbers for different products. Huge difference in protection level. BUT, congratulations on finding a surge protector. Energy companies everywhere won't give you a penny for their bugs that fry your electronics. Although I had no known incidents with my incoming power, I used the money as an insurance policy to mitigate a possible outage. A good distance between the pedestals…

Pros
  • Accommodates AC block plugs uncovered unused outlets
Cons
  • Flimsy

Provides power but doesn't keep kids away

This power panel provides power. I can't test surge protection. It's a bit big, which is both a good and bad thing. There's a bit more space between the sockets than on smaller power supplies, but it's very wide. I've attached a photo of this unit and the power supply it replaces. This product loses 2 stars because it is advertised as safe "especially for children" but the child protective covers are woefully inadequate. The first thing my 3 year old did after opening the box was opening and…

Best power strip design I could find

First off, it's a convenient power strip that works. I can't test surge protection. I chose this particular brand and design because the sockets are spaced slightly further than other power strips and they are perpendicular to the orientation of the power strip, making them much more convenient for all types of cube shaped power supplies. or rectangle. There is an outlet spaced farther apart for a very large power supply, which is very convenient. It's worth noting that the button to turn the…
