Quick installation and initial start-up

The most difficult thing about this block was opening the plastic container. No problems connecting cables and it worked right after turning on the computers according to the instructions. I am using a computer running Vista 64 with another XP computer. An external switch greatly simplifies changing computers. I had no problems from the start and have been using it for two weeks. I would recommend this to anyone who is upgrading to a newer operating system and needs to keep using the old…

I couldn't get it to work

I've used other KVM switches before and haven't had the problems I've experienced with this one. I'm not sure if my USB PS2 adapters didn't work or if the device just broke. Anyway, I returned it and bought a USB KVM Switch to avoid possible problems with the adapter. I'm not giving one star because it could be operator error.

Does the trick, but with some annoyances

Using this thing on some systems can cause audible burps and buzzes that make you look for the power cord. Overall, however, it gets the job done. I don't think I want to use any of these items as part of my main system. This review was not sponsored or endorsed by Belkin.

Part not even listed

I usually try to be objective and positive on the feedback/comment board. However, I find one big flaw before anyone else. The part I received is not a flip with sound but a flip without sound (with sound: F1DG102P; silent: F1DF102P). I hope this was just a stock mix up and future mistakes can be avoided. . I prefer not to rate this product (unless Revain refuses to post it if it hasn't been rated) as I did not actually receive the item I ordered. This is not a complaint and I don't want to pay

It's hard to start. the best of KVM switches

The product works great when both computers are on and running. Problem starting computers. The first one that starts doesn't recognize the keyboard and mouse, so I have to click delete, then exit, then click yes for my Windows XP computer to start. Then my Windows 7 laptop starts normally. I can't start my Windows 7 laptop first or the switch isn't working.

Almost perfect.: External components

Very easy to connect and of course works at the push of a button. A problem, and it's something serious. For some reason my mouse scroll wheel sometimes tells the browser to go back a page instead of scrolling down. This only happens when connected to Belkin, not when connected directly to a PC.

  • Great price

  • Almost never

Looks good but didn't work twice in a row

Flip looked great on paper for our two Windows XP PCs with PS/2 mouse and keyboard ports. When it arrived we connected everything as instructed but the remote switch did nothing. Okay, maybe we have a defective one. Sent back for exchange, same result. Oddly enough, we found that we could get the Flip to work by plugging and unplugging the remote switch. In other words, the device switched between computers when the remote was disconnected and reconnected, but pressing the button on the remote…
