Bell Automotive 22-1-01000-8 Black Deer Alert (2) Review

I had this product a few weeks ago and saw deer stop, stare and run away. I don't know if that's a coincidence or if this product actually works. But I hope it's the product. My husband installed and said it was easy and glued well.

I bought a set of these after two deer crashed into my car. A year later, the deer still doesn't get in my way and I've bought kits for two other family cars. Nothing foolproof, but they help deter deer from running in front of the car.

We live in rural Wisconsin. I bought a pair of these for each vehicle because I shot three deer in the last year. Yesterday I had the 4th! You can whistle and get the deer to look at you, but they don't stop the deer from running away like other reviews claim. I would not recommend this product alone.

Recently purchased to prevent damage to the car. I put them on and the car sat for 2 weeks, the first time it seemed like a call to the fox. Imagine a fox running right/left/right and straight into my car's bucket. I come home to find a live, unharmed fox locked in the front bucket of my car. I don't know what to think, deer whistle or fox calls.

Where should you put better functionality than in the car wash? No factual information was given. But I think most people try to install them in different places and then wonder why they don't get airflow. I put them on the inside of the side mirrors, strong wind, stay in the car wash, and they're not an eyesore on the Mustang.

Having already knocked down the deer, I tried to find a way to prevent it since I am surrounded by them. I'll say they definitely hear it because they stand at attention when I drive by and their ears are constantly moving. I think it was worth the extra protection. Of course, nothing replaces vigilance and smart driving, but I'm very glad I bought it.

After my family members were confronted with two suicide deer crashing into their cars, I decided to give it a try. I doubted it, but they seem to work. Aside from getting a few deer back into the field instead of jumping into our car, this seems to have the same effect on the larger turkeys. It's worth the price, which is a lot less than the insurance deductible.
