Bell Ballistic Steel Cable Black Review

I recently purchased a heavy-duty bike lock for my Sports and Outdoors adventures and I am impressed with its strength and durability. After I put it to the test, I was confident that my bike was secure and couldn't be easily robbed. Its steel cable material and black coating make it look sleek and fashionably minimalistic. The only downside is that it's quite heavy to carry around when I'm on-the-go. Nonetheless, it's worth the investment for its security features.

So far it has worked well for me as a deterrent to bicycle seat theft when parked. I run this through my main chain lock (class 10) on my EBike.

Worked like a champ in the 1st month. After that, several weeks pass when the lock is inside and open, and serious tarnishing occurs outside and inside the lock. The lock is sometimes quite difficult to open. The second month, and the lock does not open (probably rusted). Looks like I really got what I paid for at $9.
