BELL Wireless Cadence 🔔 Computer Console 500 - Black Review

Bought 6 months ago to check mileage. To do this, it does exactly what I was looking for. However, the cadence does not work even after I replaced the dead battery that was included in the sending device.

Bells of more expensive devices, cadence is good to avoid muscle overload. Batteries need to be replaced twice a year. There are batteries in my dollar store.

This installs easily and works well for about a year but when the cadence sensor cover fell off it turned out that you couldn't buy parts for it the component is unusable. The main console pops out of its mount fairly easily, but a piece of tape helped solve this problem. I was going to buy a new unit to replace the one I have but it looks like it has been discontinued. Off to find something else.

Apparently this Bell engineer overslept his engineering class; this thing just doesn't work. Batteries are already installed in the sensors, the battery for the computer is lost and must be installed. Turns out the battery was dead... With a fresh battery in the computer and sensors installed on the bike, I could only get intermittent communication from the sensors to the computer. I've tried different batteries in the sensors, as well as the "reset" button on the sensor, but nothing has…

Looking for a cheap second bike computer. I have another "cheap" Bell computer that has been very reliable for the last 5000 miles and when I saw this cadence computer at a great price it caught my eye. Bell computers tend to have relatively low "star" ratings, and I'm familiar with their (deserved) reputation for poor instructions.
