Bought for my electric scooter. It gives off a good beam of light and I also use it as a flashlight at home. Much better than constantly changing batteries. It really holds a charge for a long time.

I bought one for myself after my girlfriend had one but found her light wasn't holding a charge so I bought a new one for her too. I love the way they work and reminds you when to charge, but the green light never comes on when fully charged and seems to charge after about 5 hours or less of run time. I was thrilled that there was a rechargeable bike light at a reasonable price. I avoid throwing away batteries the way some people avoid paying taxes. We already have too many toxic substances in our landfills and I refuse to add anything to the madness. When I opened the flashlight to insert the batteries I was amazed at how light it is overall - very light. When I tried to put the first battery in, it didn't go in properly because the spring holding the battery was so weak that it would break if bent down. I had to bend it to a semblance of its original shape in order to insert the battery. As I tried this the components started falling apart, the light element just fell out and hit the upholstery of my chair! He had nothing to do with that…
