⏳ Stylish Bellaware 60 Minute Hourglass: Timeless Wooden Sand Timer Review

Here's the deal. If I wanted to have a nice desktop keychain, it's 5 stars. Looks good, workmanship is excellent, corresponds to the photos. But I also wanted a watch. I know hourglasses aren't perfect, but they're nowhere near. Typical office environment with normal temperature/humidity. I get 1 hour 17.5 minutes. Photo after 1 hour. Will return.

Always wanted to have an hourglass in the shape of an hourglass. Although it says an acceptable +/- 10% accuracy, which was an issue, it was about 1 minute less than an hour, which is less than 2%. For the price I am very happy with the purchase. I also have no problems with a dangling frame. Edit 2/10/20: Downgraded a star to 4. Sand very often sticks to the sides which makes it feel a bit cheap and like it wasn't made and manufactured properly.

We use it when our little baby is sleeping. This is a visual indicator letting them know how much time is left. Being an archaic hourglass with a timer, I was really surprised that it ran every 58.5 minutes before it ran out. I was sure it would be a good 10-15 minutes, give or take. Good size (not too big, not too small, nice to display - approx 8" tall), well made from black lacquered solid wood and the glass is nice too, no defects/bubbles . The "Bellaware" logo is engraved on one end and is a bit large for my taste, but you can also leave the end unbranded. I have a 15 minute timer. Looks good, corresponds to the picture. I bought it to get pictures for meetings and breaks throughout the day. I wasn't expecting perfect accuracy - I have an iPhone that will measure this to the second with any desired alarm. The ad text clearly indicates a possible time difference of +/- 10%. This would be 1.5 minutes on a 15 minute timer, or 13.5 to 16.5 minutes. The 15 minute timer I got runs an average of about 19 minutes and 15 seconds. The sand is visibly…

This case is made from durable quilted material, silver on one side and black on the other. It fits perfectly on my 2018 RAV4.
