excellent brakes good for pads

30 years of installing brakes, but there are no better Bendix brakes. I've tried every brand that every auto parts store sells here in the US, some are just as good but don't last as long as the Bendix pads. They last great and stay calm for a long time.

Pros
  • excellent for me
Cons
  • there are nuances

Slightly worse than the old pads

I have front calipers and rear drums so maybe these pads would be better on both sides but they are no better than my old worn pads and in fact they are worse. They also sometimes make a creaking/almost crunching noise when moving from about 5 mph to a complete stop.

Pros
  • Annual trial
Cons
  • unreliable

Great idea needs revision

Springs had to be removed 24 hours a day when they were supposed to be stuck in the brake pads to keep them spread. It's best to have a large C-clip to hold the pads together, why springs kick in. Just a tip

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Mitsubishi Outlander 2016

Went with these. Was influenced by the comments. The brake mechanic berates Bendix. They don't disappoint. The Outlander brakes much better than with the original pads on the car. I ordered a second set for my daughter's car. The pads I replaced still had some flesh and that made me happy as it tells me the woman is not a fast and retarded girl.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Far superior to my Mitsubishi Outlander

Just put 500 miles on these pads and so far they have been great. Quiet and most importantly far superior braking performance compared to the stock pads on my 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander. I have no idea why Mitsu put such bad pads on the car. This makes it harder to stop, feels like the standard pads return, same feeling like you have to pump out the lines or you need braided lines. So far so good, we'll see how long it lasts. Edit August 29: There is a ton of brake dust from these pads making my

Pros
  • Few competitors

  • Scarce manual

Works in normal weather, causes an accident in the rain.

The brakes were ok but still not trusted to be honest. I wear about 2 weeks. The brakes seemed fine until they stopped my car at a red light and I crashed into the car in front of me because I couldn't stop. It was raining but I have brand new tires so they weren't slipping but I think the brakes were slipping. Luckily there was no damage, but we drove very carefully and tried to keep enough distance so that something like this didn't happen again. So if you're buying by price, these will do…

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Good but not great

Update: It's been a little over a month since installing these pads (along with new hard drives). I don't drive to work during the weekdays and the driving is probably less than 15 miles a day. I've kept it for 3 years and have never had so much brake dust on my wheels. To give you an idea it's been a week and a half since I've washed and detailed and my wheels are covered in so much brake dust you can't tell the color of my rims. That's ridiculous. I am very disappointed - the brake pads do…
