Rust-Colored Bernat Viva Yarn - Single Ball, 3.5 Ounce: Get Creative! Review

I really enjoyed working with this yarn. I knitted the hat with knitting needles, it turned out very nicely. It might seem a little prickly, but after washing with milder products, that's taken care of. No knots which unfortunately some people have experienced. I ordered 2 more skis and I hope the quality is the same.

I should have read the reviews before buying. Love the color and the yarn, but as other reviewers have said, this yarn was NOT CONTINUOUS GAUGE - one skein was at least 5 knots and the other was 3 which is what I bought. I haven't bought this yarn yet. Definitely disappointed. If you're knitting smaller pieces or don't mind joining yarns, the yarn itself is a nice color and easy to knit and I quite like it, although the hat I made is a little itchy when using touches my face.

Seller and delivery were excellent. The yarn is very soft and makes a beautiful shawl, but I had to take off the stars to check quality. Some strands had up to 6-7 knots, when I tried to remove the knots on one strand specifically, I found that they were all spliced. I have no idea why so many joins were needed. I also have to consider batches of dye. I underestimated (I know, shame on me) and was forced to get more from local stores and here on the internet and all three lots were completely…
