we use it on a commercial fishing boat to catch salmon we put it on the deck to collect fish we stand on it when we collect salmon that isn't slippery anymore, and also, maybe even more so, a salmon landing on the deck doesn't slip as much anymore! we like it a lot, but for our situation we need a matte 1/2" or 5/8".

I bought this floor mat to fill the gap between my back door and garage door in wet weather. The rug was easily trimmed for a perfect fit and performed exactly as I had hoped. I will provide a dry surface for my wife's wheelchair to keep water out of the house. I only lay out the carpet when necessary. It rolls up easily for storage and just as easily rolls into place when needed.

This product is only amazing because it is 36 inches wide! Most importantly, the ends are trimmed so there isn't a full "finished look." Also, be careful if you have underfloor heating! The first rug we ordered was literally stuck to the floor like a giant sticker! The second drug we got we had to put a ram board under to keep it from sticking to the floor. Overall this is a very good product and as I mentioned the width is amazing!
