I find this works very well. The only downside is that some tea leaves end up in my tea, but they are quite small. I use it a few times before I have to clean it and it doesn't get too rough. I really like the look of the teaspoon. Overall I am very happy with my purchase!

Difficult to clean thoroughly as it opens very wide. The top piece flexed back and forth, misaligned with the bottom piece, did almost anything and seemed so flimsy putting it in place that I'm not sure how long it will be before it breaks. I will have to order something else for the infuser as this purchase disappointed me. :(

I've only been using this for a week but love how easy the handle opens and closes the tea infuser. My only complaint is the awkwardness of filling with tea leaves. Requires multiple attempts to fill. I originally had a ball and just needed to pick up the tea leaves. Although easy to open, it is a bit awkward to fill due to the angle of the ball and handle. Maybe with a little practice it would be less of a hassle.

They're on a spring loaded hole, which is pretty cool. A bit difficult to clean because they don't stay open so hold the handle and wash with your other hand. More than I thought. You actually get two! They are quite large (in my opinion) but you can pick up a lot or a little loose leaf! That's great! Highly recommended for tea lovers. Excellent! The materials aren't cheap either!

Received this tea infuser today and automatically tried unscrewing the ball. I'm so stupid! You push the handle to open the ball. I thought the pressure part was supposed to strain out the tea water. To fill this is inconvenient, I put the bowl on the floor because it made a mess. After the tee hit the ball, it worked great! I struggled to fill them when I first got them, but here's the method I chose and it works great: Place the tea leaves in a shallow bowl, at least four times as wide as deep than the large one. Then simply open the teapot and place the base in the bowl. Then use your other hand to push in the tea leaves. I've bought glassware with lids that snap open securely and seal with a rubber grommet. So the whole point of a tea strainer is to brew loose tea without getting dirt into the drink. I only use tea bags but I bought this one because sometimes a tea bag tears when opened and I hate wasting an entire tea bag just because it's torn. I figured I could just stick the torn tea bag in a strainer and voila, no more wasted tea bags. no I used it once. I put a whole bag (with a slight tear) in a strainer and somehow it didn't filter the tea at all. My cup immediately filled with garbage…
