Bexlands 0-1 Inch Outside Micrometer with Graduation Review

I have been a professional locksmith for about 33 years and have relied on Chinese micrometers 85% of that time. I have at least 3 Chinese microns 0-1 inch plus many other sizes and this is the worst I have ever seen. It would be fine for a 12 year old to play with for the first year, but for about the same money I think you could get better. I compare this micrometer with another Chinese one I bought around 1989. Basically a metal micrometer with some plastic parts which makes the whole tool look cheap. However, it works well and I was able to calibrate it to 0 with the tool that came with it with no problem. You just stick it in the hole and twist it in any direction, so no problem. I'm no expert when it comes to micrometers, but this tool is easy to use.
