Faulty Timing Tool Ruins My Engine

According to my experience, this engine tool failed to align my camshaft timing correctly resulting in a costly engine rebuild. The only positive thing about it is that it looked and felt sturdy. The negative, however, far outweighs any possible benefits. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration by choosing a more reliable tool.

Cheap stuff.! good for timing belt tools

looks great but can't use it. They do it as a demonstration, not for use. This time using the camshaft holder, broke the 4mm bolts holding the two pieces to hold the camshaft. I can't even loosen the control screw!

only useful if you are improvising

as others say it is not strong enough to hold the cams. he will break. but it is enough if you additionally hold/clamp the cam with (pipe) pliers while trying to unscrew the cam pinion. there is a groove on the cam for that :) it worked for me every time
