Good in theory, but not really. I was hoping to get rid of the iPhone charger cable but the iPhone charger cable is too short to work with some cases but this eliminated the need for a surge protector and an endless tangle of wires. So it was still worth it. I always leave the things I need on (home phone and CPAP), I just tie them together so they don't get in the way. This works very well. If I could use the dock with my iPhone in the case I would give this one 5 stars as I really like it.

I took this as a replacement for the front box which has 6 connectors, I figured 3 on each side would make cable management easier. An added bonus is the presence of 4 top USB ports for charging. My plan worked mostly as intended, the top ports refuse to fast charge my Android devices that otherwise use fast charging. That confusion aside, it's a great block. Ordered spontaneously and got good reviews. I put this in the living room when guests come over because everyone walks around with a phone or tablet these days. Great little charger. All ports work fine and as intended. The tested mini USB (Android) and Lightning port (IOS) adapters work as intended and even work with your phone in a case if it's thin enough. I would give five stars if it weren't for the missing product description, i.e. not "as described". Vertical adapters will not work with *ANY* cover/skin on your phone (we have both iPhones and Androids (and the iPhone in particular has a very thin case)).
