Some buyers complain that the battery (CR2032) was half dead when it arrived. The battery cannot be turned off, so the longer it sits in the warehouse, the more dead the battery becomes. And it'slso not easy to replace the battery and requires a very tiny screwdriver to remove the four screws. We listen and preprare backup button and screwdriver for you.

Is my milk cold? in kitchen utensils and gadgets

Like these little thermostats. Good high and low tempo recording function. I should read the description better as they don't read the times the way I would like them to. Although my mistake. I just wanted the new buyer to know about it.

Works like. at Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

Works great in the fridge. WILL NOT WORK IN THE FREEZER. If a product says "fridge freezer" right on the front, you would expect it to work in a freezer. Not a freezer, not a Pfizer -100° freezer, but a normal 0° household freezer. NO.

Fairly good - kitchen and dining room

Fairly good, but there are some inconveniences1. Battery life isn't great, 4 months at best2. To replace the battery, you need to disassemble the entire device including some screws. Since the plastic is quite soft, you'll have as many tries as the fasteners loosen over time.

Very inaccurate in kitchen and dining room

Moderately very inaccurate! We were having trouble with our fridge and had it moved around the fridge to see the cool spots. We were crazy that our fridge was always reading 38-45 degrees, so we borrowed the official fridge thermometer from a friend who repairs appliances. The temperature steadily dropped by 5-8 degrees! This is very important when dealing with perishable products. I wish I could go back but missed the window

Not exactly? Works well until you need to change batteries

I bought 4 of these when switched on they all read a different temperature all within 2 degrees. So I don't trust the accuracy of these thermometers, although they give a pretty good approximation. This item worked great until the batteries died which lasted about 6 months. Then there was a problem. You have to remove 4 small screws to open the battery compartment, it takes a 2032 type battery. Personally I would go to another brand that is easier to change.
