Came just in time and they work great

I had no trouble with this tool set. I nice set for my collection; you handymen and women know what I'm talking about. My daughters Chrysler Sebring broke down, (needed this set years ago though.) Anyway, I always used a pair of pliers "Cobras®" when I unhooked hoses from a car. But some times it would take an hour for some of them b/c of where they were located. Now it only takes me a few minutes, so glad I looked for these! They came at the right time, too!

Pros
  • Specifically designed for use on fuel, oil, and water hoses
Cons
  • Lacks versatility

Cable accessory issue

While most of the tool work as described the cable tool jammed with 1st use and the cable outer sleeve is damaged. Also the jaws on all tools in the set do no not open wide enough tool open brand new 50mm tension springs.

Pros
  • Upgrade Design: all pliers constructed with high-quality carbon steel and PVC, heat-treated tool bodies could effectively withstand extrusion with high hardness. Besides, the electrophoretic coating technique enhances corrosion and rust resistance. Anti-Slip handles with Matte Texture is ergonomically designed and more slip resistant than PVC handle.
Cons
  • Too expensive for what it is

Great tools best in my review

This are great tools to have around the garage. It's so nice to remove and reinstall a clamp with these and the way they lock and hold the clamp open. It used to be a real pain in the butt to get clamps off sometimes until these arrived. The case is kinda cheap made and the tools are about a 7 or 8 out of 10.

Pros
  • The items are good, but the box came broken.
Cons
  • Short lifespan of the product

These look pretty in a box and give you the confidence that you have all your bases covered,no matter the job. The set was purchased mainly due to its supposed versatility, mix of clamp pliers for all scenarios and customer feedback. We put it to test on a a 2.0T FSI engine in the middle of a vehicle overhaul. The tools did ok with the clamps that were unobstructed and had a clear access path. However separating clamps at the back of the engine where you don;t have a clear line of sight is where

Pros
  • Provides precise control over hose clamping tasks
Cons
  • Not always effective at completing the task at hand

Home garage, DIY mechanic

The price is right, but even as a weekend DIYer, I still have regrets, wish I had gone a little higher quality. I mean, this is probably the only hose clamp set I'll ever buy in my life, I shouldn't have been as cheap. What I mean is they feel flimsy and the hand grips are already twisting off the metal.

Pros
  • Provides a secure grip to keep hoses in place
Cons
  • Inability to reach tight spaces or difficult angles

Fuel line pliers in my review

Fuel line pliers These are a must have if you have to change out a fuel line or a water line this will remove the clamps for you and you do not have to worry about breaking the clamps this is well worth the money I own my own shop so this was a great tool for me at a great cost highly recommended

Pros
  • Helps prevent the loss of hose fluids
Cons
  • Grip can become loose over time

Great plier/clamp set

Outstanding clamp set, highly reviewed by trade publications, best I've found. The only bug was the included paper spec sheet, a well-written and useful document, was damaged due to placement on a sharp plier nut, more careful packaging would've prevented this one and only issue.

Pros
  • Saves time and effort on hose clamping tasks
Cons
  • Makes squeaking noises when gripping

Good product in my review

Awesome tool set. Put it to use already and worked very well especially for those hard to reach hose clamps. Inefficient grip on smaller hoses.

Pros
  • Comes with all tools to help you accomplish your work easier and faster
Cons
  • Inefficient grip on smaller hoses

Quality is not the best

With this to like most you get what you pay for. It will get the job done but not sure for how long they are pretty cheaply made.

Pros
  • Liked different tips for hose clamps
Cons
  • No interchangeable tips

Quality tools in an organized case.

These tools are made with excellent materials, I've not gotten to use them due to that I needed to get my truck fixed one day earlier using channel lock pliers, I have tested them at a later time and they performed great.

Pros
  • Comes in a secure carrying case for easy storage and transport
Cons
  • Limited range of motion

Good tools but needs work on quality

The set is great with the variety of tools. However, the quality of the locking mechanism isn't to hot under pressure. I was working on a truck tryjng to replace a thermostat assembly. I used the tool with the long extension on a factory clamp that was really strong and the clamp gave way. Two things happened. 1) the clamps locking mechanism eat through the gear and slipped loose and 2) the wire cable was damaged as it tried to pass through the hole at the top as I tried to add tension to the…

Pros
  • Comes with a comprehensive set of 9 pliers to handle any job
Cons
  • No instructions included

Why Didn’t I Get These Decades Ago

I’ve been a driveway mechanic for decades. For decades I’ve used basic pliers to fight with hose clamps of different types. Now I have this tool kit.I like the carrying case-things fit nicely. The tools are well made and fit my hand. I suspect these tools will outlast me.I like them enough that I bought a set for my son. I suspect he’ll get as many years out of these tools as I had years with them.

Pros
  • Provides a comfortable and safe grip for successful clamping even in slippery conditions
Cons
  • Knuckles can hit each other while using

Tools needed in my review

I follow other reviews about how helpful these tools were to making the job easier and they were right. I had everything I needed in this case to help me remove and replace hoses to change a water pump. I mostly used the five bottom pliers for releasing and holding clamps open. I used all the pliers, on the bottom, except for the separator pliers that are the fourth from the left. The different angles pliers help to get into tight places. I did not use the pliers with the cable and the pick for

Pros
  • Had a variety of tools, to fit various hoses on my car.
Cons
  • Not compatible with all hose clamp types

it's all good until you can't get off the hose clamp

Too many times I was in the pesky hose-clamp situation, but no more. I wish the tools fit better in the case and that they were better made, but I'm NOT disappointed in my current experience. The clamps do their job extremely well. The locking feels a bit flimsy but it works, and that is all I'm looking for. Thank you and get your own clamp removers.

Pros
  • Suitable for use in tight and confined spaces
Cons
  • Poorly designed

You get what you pay for

I’m a weekend DIY mechanic; I do what I can, and having the right tools always makes doing the job so much easier and enjoyable. That being said, these are not professional grade tools, but they will get the job done. Way better then just using screwdriver and a pair of pliers, definitely good enough for weekend projects.

Pros
  • They are very good quality and the price is amazing
Cons
  • Too heavy for portable use

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a snap-on on my review.

The tips are to loose, you have to fit and hold it on the clamp so that it want turn just to get it on. but once its on it lock and hold so that the clamp will move freely on the hose.

Pros
  • bitchen
Cons
  • Inability to grab onto hoses securely

Holding my review best in my review

The case is definitely very cheaply made, but I was a little disappointed with the quality of the tools. They feel cheap, but maybe that's what happens with this price range. I haven't used them yet, but I have some concern about the usefulness. Two of the pliers will not lock in the fully closed position. May be an issue.

Pros
  • Comfortable grip handles for reduced hand fatigue during use
Cons
  • Difficult to find replacement parts
