Do not use for camping

I took this pan camping but it can't take the heat of the mini stove/fuel system. It burned through the metal almost immediately. Immediately unusable.

Featherweight - pots, pans and frying pans

This is an amazingly light frying pan. It's big enough to make one large egg or maybe two medium sized eggs. You need to cut a piece of bacon in half. Takes up little space and easy to cook. Titanium always comes in handy when you go camping.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel

Handy and lightweight

Suitable for one person meal. And the food is a reasonable size at the same time. But if you're looking for a lightweight pan for hiking, this is a solid choice. Keep in mind that titanium without aluminum on the bottom (like your homemade frying pan) conducts heat too well. It will burn your food if you are not careful or put it on a fire that is too high.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • No

Absolute junk Good for pots, pans and pans

This is the thinnest, craziest pan I've ever owned. I took it with me on a hike. We first tried it on our camp stove to make bacon one morning. We turned off the camping stove as quietly as possible. This pan is so thin that the bacon will burn before you even turn it. In addition, the pan had burn marks from the smallest flame ever used. It just sucks and we ended up throwing it away and went to the store and bought another frying pan from Walmart which we had no problem with.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • A few little things

Definitely better than stainless steel

When I tried to use a stainless steel camping pan on my camp stove, it cracked and deformed as soon as the flame hit the bottom. This titanium pan didn't appear to warp at all during cooking (although the burn marks made it difficult to be entirely sure). I've never cooked with titanium, but it doesn't seem to retain any heat at all, so anything you're cooking needs to be right over the flame to really cook. Stainless steel camp pans are very thin and don't retain heat well, but cool down even…

Spring. makes a great plate.

This pan is very nicely made. But after seeing how extremely thin it is, and knowing that titanium is even less thermally conductive than stainless steel, and after seeing that the seller now says the pan is only good for cooked food, I WILL NOT EVEN TRY to cook in this thing. When frying bacon and eggs, it definitely does not heat up evenly. You shouldn't bother, even if the surface doesn't stick like crazy without Teflon. And who wants to cook food in a pot that is 8 inches in diameter and 1…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Transparent film

Perfect for 2 or 3 if anyone isn't very hungry

This is my second Titanium skillet and I immediately noticed that the handle is strong and comfortable. It stays in any position you place it, folded for storage, as a handle, or wherever you like. This is perfect for a breakfast for two unless you want your food to touch. I can roast 2 fillets, 2 smaller ribs or 1 T-bone. The trick is low and slow heat if you haven't used titanium before. It will discolour here and there but I was able to remove most of the blemishes/burns with the Magis…
