You can really only fairly evaluate anything for a cat based on how well made the product is and whether it is what it said it was. If you own a cat, you know that you can't really count on whether it is going to like or use something - you have to just try it and see what happens. My cat is about 4.5 months old now and has always wanted to go under the covers in our bed. For so many reasons, we didn't want to allow that, so I was hoping he would take to this bed. It sat for a long time without

  • My cat refused to go in. Preferred the chair next to me. Sigh...gave it to my staff who has 2 dogs.

great purchase. If you're thinking about getting the larger .

I call it the clamshell. The cats go through phases of not caring about it, to full-out war over who sleeps inside.which normally result in the loser laying on top of it with the other inside (there is never a real "winner" in this game). Overall, great purchase. If you're thinking about getting the larger size because it would be adorable for BOTH your cats to cuddle inside, don't bother.

My cat doesn't seem to like it as much as I'd hoped

It's exactly what I wanted and expected. My cat doesn't seem to like it as much as I'd hoped, but that's not the fault of the bed.it's just my cat being a cat.

This was my first purchase and unfortunately will be the last (very poor quality product, not as described and when I asked for a refund they wanted me to pay for the shipping cost.to China) NEVER AGAIN!

Do Not Buy this if you ever want to see your cat again :)

I have a Cornish Rex (almost hairless cat) and she immediately climbed into this and I haven’t seen her since. It is extremely warm inside the hamburger/clamshell/turtle shell/egg. I do miss my cat and may have to make the cozy bed disappear if I ever want to have my lapcat back.
