It destroys my loyalty to this brand.

This destroys my loyalty to this brand. I used to have their original octagonal mocha pot. However, it is made of aluminum, which is unhealthy. So I decided to buy stainless steel but their stainless steel product is of poor quality. It is stained and came in what looks like used packaging. The lid of the container is also not very suitable. I see a gap between the rim of the container and the rim of the lid. By the way, not made in Italy like before.

Looks good but weak components

Looks good, easy to use and clean but appears to have a short lifespan. I was able to tape it back but I see the repair will be short lived. Components are thin and held in place by flimsy screws. I highly recommend not using the assembly tightening knob as it doesn't hold pressure for long. This model was chosen because I use an induction hob. If you use gas, consider the classic model that seems built to last.

The only problem with the classic version is that it only works really well on small burner kilns and some metal burners. If you use classic aluminum on induction cookers (induction = usually glass and sometimes glow red when off), they will fail badly and sometimes even melt! This little guy is amazing! It works on ALL STOVE TYPES so you don't have to worry. Contrary to Revain's description, THIS WORKS…

An old fashioned gem of Italy!

(After a year of use, see photo. Not bad!) So this was my first brew coffee maker and it's by far the best in terms of value for money; cheaper than any overpriced espresso machine. It's elegant, vintage, and best of all. It's STAINLESS STEEL for those trying not to buy aluminum based products! I've had it for almost a year now (10 months). FULL REVIEW To keep it in good condition, always choose hand wash; NEVER use soap. During brewing, light a flame that only covers the entire bottom of the…
