Either this stem adapter or the stem itself is not good. It keeps slipping, which is very dangerous even if you're just driving in a small village or driving down a mountain, no matter how tight you tighten the clamp bolts.

Stem is marked 22.2mm and wedge 22mm. As you can see from the photo, there is a small difference in size. This means that while the stem will fit a standard 1" fork, the fit is not tight enough, causing it to rotate. I'm giving it 2 stars because if you have an extra wedge it might work. The build quality is not very good.

It works but definitely not the best option. I should have thought about it, but I would really prefer an adapter that sits flush with my headset. Such a large gap between the 1" and 1" 1/8" sections looks weird. Also, it limits my drop. I'll be switching to another option soon, and this one carries over to a city bike. Aesthetics and drop to the site, or it works fine If you're looking for a cheap adapter, this one is for you.

I used this on an old Univega bike that required a 22.2mm stem. It just fitted perfectly. It was a bit short for my use. If you're looking to repurpose it for an older bike, keep that in mind, especially if you're doing a road conversion or something. I just wish it was a little longer (about 10-20mm more).
