Great product in power tool parts

Holds a quart of glue and keeps it fresh You may want to replace the 1 inch brush as the bristles tend to reshape when you put the brush cap on. Keep in mind that Kahn cement tends to thicken over time in the glue pot. Use glue thinner for Kahn cement. It has nothing to do with the glue pot itself, it's a way of gluing. Otherwise a good deal for the price

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine

It is great. to spend money.

Decays beautifully. You can be the proud owner of a wasted $50, just buy it, fill it with glue and watch it fall apart. Oh, but it's not worth $50? Just add $30 worth of glue to allow the seams to open up and the glue to dry for you. Maybe after a while it will tear completely so I can scrape off the sticky glue and "maybe" fix it with some kind of solvent and another container, although I hope not.

Pros
  • Brings joy

  • Difficult to answer

Great idea, too bad it's falling apart.

After seeing this glue tank doing leatherwork on YouTube, I was won over by its apparent convenience. Of course it was great, very easy to use and gave me quick access to the glue. Unfortunately, after just a few months, cracks appeared on the bottom of the container, causing the glue inside to begin to harden. I have no idea why these cracks formed, the glue tank wasn't dropped or exposed to extreme temperatures.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Volume

Good cheap glue. I like big horns.

Good cheap glue bottle I like the Big Horn glue bottle. It is inexpensive and easy to use. However, I have a warning: when filling the glue tank, store it upright with the dipping edge well above the storage tank. As the glue evaporates from the pot when it is in its normal working position, fumes will build up in the closed chamber of the tank and the gas pressure can cause the tank to rupture at the seams. Luckily, the drying, leaking adhesive hardens and seals the cracks.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Damaged

RIP our apartment deposit, bottom seam came loose

After 6 months one of the bottom gaskets failed and about 16 ounces of glue spilled all over the side of my desk and onto the carpet. I usually keep a jar of glue on my workbench, but about a month ago I was working on small parts and never put it back. Kind of glad, since I had a few large leather items on my bench back then that would also be destroyed by a leak, but that doesn't mean you can just pull the contact putty out of the carpet. With the same success you can also say goodbye to our…

All my products lost

Seems like a good idea. I saw that all the pros use similar designs so I decided on one. I'm tired of using toothpicks and cotton swabs to apply glue. Poured all my glue (three 8 ounce bottles) into a container. I used it a few times, I thought it was enough. BUT. I didn't use my glue for a bit and it was sitting on my shelf. Took it for a project and all my glue dried up. The pressure seems to have built up and pushed the lid back just enough to release the pressure but also just enough to…

Also good for bookbinding

I've been using this for bookbinding for a few months and it has made a world of difference. No more dried glue and hard brushes. It's easy to put the top on the brush while you're working on something else, and when you take it off, the brush is in place, filled with glue, and ready to use. The top can be taken off and put on with one hand as long as the other hand is holding something. The little caretaker is also a nice touch. I used to use small containers and jars for glue and when you…

Looks just as good as my other

As described in the addendum. Cheaper than expensive brands which I have had several. They all seem the same. As a saddler, I used a whole handful of them. I love her. I've read other reviews that mentioned problems with them leaking. I guess they kept their glue pot in a horizontal position the entire time, rather than picking it up when not in use (like the position used when filling). If you leave them open, the pressurized fumes will escape through the lid. Instead of squeezing the glue out

Pros
  • power tool parts
Cons
  • Nothing included
