Grey Silicone Pot Holders, Set of 2, Heat Resistant for Kitchen and Baking - Big Red House Review

These are really good pot holders but they are difficult to use with one hand. I have to use both to get anything out of the oven. It's awkward to bend one to grab the handle.

I love them! The best potholders! We use them regularly with cast iron pans in our Dutch Oven and these oven mitts are by far the best oven mitts we've ever had! At the same time, it does not transmit heat at all. I never doubt that the heat will penetrate through the potholders.

I have always found rubberized potholders to be bulky and difficult to grip and hold. They are extremely convenient and easy to use and store things. Rubberized strips provide additional grip and protect hands from heat. I haven't washed them yet, so I can't comment on that yet. These are the best potholders I've ever had. I would buy again and again.

I haven't decided yet if I like these pot holders or not. They're quite uncomfortable to use and I feel like the pocket isn't deep enough. I feel like they're about to slip or fall out of my hands. There is a short seam in the center of the bottom pocket that doesn't feel right or natural when in use. I avoid these thumbtacks for the sake of others.

They look good, are easy to clean and fairly comfortable, with good heat retention for regular pots/pans - they take a little getting used to, especially if you use them and then have to rush. They're flexible, the silicone grip strips help, but they're a bit flimsy so the heat protection is mediocre for really hot stuff like a cast-iron Dutch oven. For these very hot things you need to move fast or you will feel the heat on your hands within seconds!

I bought these with The Big Red House pot holders. I really like the extra stitching on the bottom of these pot holders. This makes them much more convenient and safer to use to lift something. My old ones had this seam so I knew how important it was. They are very well made and have good heat resistance. Protect my hands and comfortable.
