Bigstream - Great solution if dealing mostly

It's an easy to use product with many features, but also very powerful ones that can handle any size of dataset or workload you throw at it! I have not encountered anything negative so far about this tool as well its support is great too! If there was something missing in terms of pricing for example (it could be more expensive) then we would definitely consider using them again when needed because they are excellent products overall. We're solving complex problems like machine learning models

Pros
  • Easy integration
  • Good documentation.
  • Well structured UI designEasy access via API call/Web interfaceGood performanceGreat customer serviceVery good scalability

I like that it is super fast, can handle large amounts of data which makes ETL jobs much easier to perform as well as analytics applications. Also has many connectors available for various databases (MySql, MSSQL SQL Server). There are still some things missing such as support for non standard formats or not supported in spark sql but those could be added at no additional cost. The best part about this product is its speed and how easy spark integration works with mysql database compared to…

Pros
  • All these aspects make bigstream one among
Cons
  • Nothing here

Has great potential if other people get involved

I like that it can be used for R, Python etc to process large scale datasets very quickly without having any prior knowledge of those languages or frameworks. It's easy enough (at least in my experience) so you don't need too much training time - just install python libraries then run through some tutorials before getting stuck into coding your own solutions! There are several ways one could solve problems with this tool but there is only 1 way of doing things which makes everything quite rigid

Pros
  • Easy interface/no overheads required
  • Good user guide section / tutorial videos available online.
  • Open source license means cost effective solution if not already included within budget plan
Cons
  • Not suitable when using other big data technologies e g MapReduce
  • Need good understanding about SQL queries
