Does not work with sports equipment

Delivered quickly. However, it doesn't match my TREK Verve. It's too tight. Apparently there are several sizes, but this is not immediately apparent when buying. As it's impossible to tell if it will fit without taking it out of the box, I certainly did and placed it on a stand that was too wide, pulling the zip ties (3 included) very tight. Once installed they have very limited customization options and to be honest I don't see them working well even if you hold them in exactly the right…

Only fits standard bikes with round tubes.

I bought this to ride my Fuji Roubaix road bike. My bike's down tube is thicker (twice as thick) and the top tube is aerodynamically shaped. There is no mounting location on the steerer tube where other tubes converge. When I took the mirror out of the box for installation, I found that the mount is designed for standard sized tubing. These chambers are not common on racing bikes. I wish there was another way to set this up. I even tried spreading the mount to force it on, but the plastic isn't

But good idea. - Sport

It's a good concept, but the framed Bike Eye mirror requires at least three modifications to work properly. It's clear manufacturers are pushing to accommodate larger tubes by making oversized clips and simply adding an insert for those with standard or narrow tubes. Another option is to lengthen the post connecting the mirror to the tube clamp to reveal the driver's leg. Finally, an adjustable ball joint (similar to the Mirrickle) is needed at the pivot of the mirror to better extend the…

Ideal for me! in bike mirrors

People either love it or hate it when they read reviews of this mirror. I LOVE IT! I've used handlebar mirrors that never seem to stay adjusted. I used a mirror that attaches to the temple of my glasses. It was difficult to adjust and find my field of view. It was troublesome and broke after being attached to my glasses too many times. I used a mirror on a helmet that wasn't angled far enough and had to fiddle with it to adjust while riding. Not for me. I ordered this gem and it was delivered…

The mirror is excellent but YMMV

I have two bikes that I wanted a mirror for. A Dahon folder, another Trek Madone 2.1. I thought it would work on both. It fitted the Dahon perfectly and did not interfere when folded. The only problem was that because the Dahon's frame is so much shorter than a regular bike, the mirror is too close to see anything other than your own foot. Not the fault of the mirror or its design, but an epic fail! Madone was next. The shape of the frame is very wide at the top and the mount doesn't twist as…

Nice mirror but didn't fit me (update: worked on another bike)

Gave me a great view of my foot but that's pretty much all I could see in the mirror. I tried positioning it at the point where my top tube and head tube meet and at different angles. I'm about 6ft 1" tall and I ride a Novara Buzz bike. I understand it works well for some people but unfortunately not for me. On the plus side, it seems very secure and doesn't seem to move at all once secured. with included tie downs, unlike some mirrors which tend to wobble when driving over bumps. The mirror is

Excellent Mirror - Accessory

I have used both narrow and wide versions of this product. I bought the narrow one locally and then the wide ones from Revain. The rating applies to both, but I like the wide one better and have replaced the narrow one on my carbon road bike. I've since bought two more as Christmas gifts for friends. This was my original review of the narrow version, but it applied identically to the wide version. ================= This is a bit of a long review of a cheap product, but this is an excellent…
