I bought this to ride my Fuji Roubaix road bike. My bike's down tube is thicker (twice as thick) and the top tube is aerodynamically shaped. There is no mounting location on the steerer tube where other tubes converge. When I took the mirror out of the box for installation, I found that the mount is designed for standard sized tubing. I have two bikes that I wanted a mirror for. A Dahon folder, another Trek Madone 2.1. I thought it would work on both. It fitted the Dahon perfectly and did not interfere when folded.
