Broke under minimal torque during install. Total garbage product. Avoid this product. This is the kind of poorly made junk ruining amazon.

On two bikes so far, when the tightening bolts are at maximum, they will not stay in my 25.4mm handlebars. With grips on, they will attach to the rubber overhang of the grip, but not the handlebar itself.

Great looking bar plugs for my road bike! These plugs work well at holding in the bar tape, a problem that I have had with the plugs that come with new bar tape.

My bike fell down and the plug cracked. I put it back in, but on the next ride, it fell off somewhere. The bike and everything on it is pretty expensive, so this was disturbing. I purchased this product and installed it. It has an excellent system for fitting into the slot and tightening the grip so it is virtually impossible for it to break or fall out. These handlebar ends meet the intended use for capping off the handlebar openings. They are designed to be pushed,(1) into each handlebar opening then secured with the allen wrench included with every order. Don't over tighten. I would use some steelwool in each handlebar opening,or sandpaper, before inserting handlebar caps. Run a clean rag through each cleaned handlebar before inserting new caps.Reason is the caps will set better in each end after tightening. :€)

This is a cheap fix and the colorful plating is just that. Cheap. Mine came already scratched and I imagine after a couple rides in the woods they will be silver.

Purchased these plugs because I lost one of them that came with my bar tape. I like that you can tighten these bar ends so there should be less chance of loosing them.The only con I have is that the end cap is only big enough to cover the hole and does not over lap at all. Because of this you can see the part of the tape where it starts it’s angle up the bar. See pic.

Put them on, they do what they’re supposed to but the interior plastic broke off and now I hear it rattle as I ride. Look nice though!
