But the price they charge $40 a clip is just so outrageous for what you get that I had to lower the price to three stars. I can name very few manufacturers today who couldn't make them and sell them for $10 each.

I hate myself. I must have been crazy to buy this. The first purchase was $42 and I just assumed it would be a pair. I WAS WRONG! I had to return this and buy a $25 pair that would work the same way, but don't say "Bilstein" because. NO ONE CAN SEE THIS TOO! 1 star because of the price!

These clips are very well made. Hold the shock absorber and the reservoir in place very well. They were taken off the road and everything stayed in place. The only complaint about the price you pay for it is that the logo was meant to be engraved and not screen printed. They're still holding up, but they've only been on the truck for about 2 months.

It works well, its height is more than enough to keep the resolution safe. Confidence that it will not fail compared to hose clamps. Others are half the height and don't seem to hold up as well as this one. I've tried all types, these definitely pinch and don't allow any movement at all.

These brackets were in the photo of the Blistein shocks I ordered but unfortunately they weren't actually part of the kit. For the price I wasn't too upset and ordered them quickly. When I ordered them they were sold separately so pay extra attention. But when they received them, they were easy to install and held my shocks right where they needed to be away from my tires.

Either Revain or Bilstein should mention that the logo is no longer engraved but is screen printed. A little annoying as it's not the cheapest mount and only holds the reservoir together with the damper body. I mean, let's be honest, this is purely aesthetic, otherwise the clamps that come with the shocks would have sufficed. I bet Bilstein saved a lot of money by not machining more, but they didn't pass the money saved on to us, the customer, instead you end up with a less "bright" part…

Warning I had removed the old shock absorbers from my car and was in the process of installing new shock absorbers when I noticed that there were no screws in either box. They are said to come with 2 screws each so you can close the clips. The two screws shown in the picture. Both boxes were missing screws. I ordered two more for next day delivery and they also had no screws just clips that couldn't be closed! I called the Billstein phone number that Revain gives you if you try to reconfigure…
