But it is now - shocks, struts and suspension

Much smoother handling than the cheap ones in Auto Zone. Do yourself a favor and buy these shock absorbers. These 4600 are for stock trucks, if you have a lift kit be sure to buy the 5100.

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • Requires socket

Suspension needs improvement

I replaced my Rancho 9000 XL shocks with these Bilstein shocks on my 2008 GMC Duramax 2500HD with Slide in Truck Camper and what a tremendous difference in ride quality, big improvement over Rancho or standard shock absorbers.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Disappear

Response and traction better than OEM

Big difference compared to OEM in that the wheels stay in contact with the road during high momentum bumps and slow, long bumps. Significant 30% improvement over OEM Chevrolet 2500 Silverado 4WD LT Ext Cab

Pros
  • Not only useful for intended purpose
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Works great so far - shocks, struts and suspension

Delivered quickly like most Revain products. Installed easily, no problems. I have a 2007 Silverado 2500HD Classic. Pulled a 2 horse steel trailer with 2 quarter horses, didn't even look like the rear end had fallen off. It drives wonderfully.

Pros
  • Brilliantly finished
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

No longer made in the USA.

Bought two. One of them appears to be new old stock from the US, the one from Mexico appears to have newer packaging. Yes, and the design seems a little different. So far the journey is going well. The two units of COO diff were not too happy.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Some defects

It's been a few years since I changed the shock absorbers.

Perfect fit for my Stock 2000 Silverado 2500. I would have installed them much sooner if I knew how much of a difference it would make. The rear shocks were easier to install than the front, and I would suggest installing all four at once.

Pros
  • Handsome
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Nice to ride with my Dmax 2500HD

I mounted them on my 2003 Silverado 2500HD Dmax. It really made a big difference to the ride. I'm sure part of this was due to the old shocks wearing out, but hardly that much even when they're new. My wife and I notice a big difference, it's still a 3/4 ton truck but it drives like a 3/4 ton Cadillac truck LOL.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...

Not just a product issue, zero customer service

I bought shock absorbers that were designed for my truck. After 6 months one of the shock absorbers was leaking. Obvious product defect. They said send it back and we'll let you know. So I pack the defective part and pay for the shipping. Then nothing. I email someone and they say they are in our warehouse and they will notify me. Nothing. Guess what - I need a shock for my truck. I will buy it from someone else. Maybe one day I'll get an answer so they tell me what I already know the shock was

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Annoying
