smooth ride. in Shocks

Wow. I could tell the difference just by pulling into the driveway. Day and night difference goes along the road. 6 stars.

Strong shocks: shocks

these shocks are day and night compared to my old shocks. I actually want to drive my truck like I used to now, it handled bumps/turns terribly, thanks

Great ride good for parts

I have used Bilstein shocks for years. They have always been high quality shock absorbers that last. They're not the cheapest, but I've put them on all my cars.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable

Watch your order 2

I haven't fitted the front shock yet but if it's as good as the rear I'll give it 5 stars. Be sure to order 2 shock absorbers, one for front left and one for front right. They don't come in pairs, I only ordered 1 by mistake due to an inaccurate comment.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High price

These are just facades. 3 bolts and they were unscrewed, it's very easy to tow one from the top from the bottom. They don't need spring compression. You must use an open-end wrench to insert the hex wrench into the top of the damper stem when tightening the top nut. Squeezing these new shocks together was

They were recommended by a great mechanic. No regret.

To be honest the trim looks a bit rough and seems like it's missing the proper dust seals, but my Tacoma drives much better now. I recently bought a 78,000 mile truck and have driven it about 3,000 miles already. I suspect it had original shock absorbers that were worn out, so I expected a dramatic improvement. My trusted mechanic recommended them over KYBs, which are decent shocks on their own. Everyone agrees that Bilstein is even better and lasts longer. I am happy. The instructions that…
