Worthy stock replacement

Not a bad shock absorber, but overhyped. I ride about 4 km every day on a gravel road. Serial shocks were ruined and didn't work. It didn't really change the normal ride, but it did help on the big bumps. The instructions were general and a bit confusing so search the internet for the correct torque specs. The dust cover is attached with a zipper. Do not pinch the tie rod, but lubricate the damper with some grease and slide the boot into position after installation.

Pros
  • Nice design
Cons
  • I don't remember, but there was something

Very happy with the improvement he made driving my Ford F350

Like the difference between day and night mileage on my Ford F350 4x4 diesel truck. I bought these shocks to replace factory shocks with 130k miles (I'm the 2nd owner of a truck bought for 129k as a weekend driver/farm truck). It always felt like a tough ride, but now it's a lot more fun. 3 of the 4 shock absorbers were very worn when I removed them. So if you have a high mileage rig, once installed you will think it is a new truck.

Pros
  • . Nice thing
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Installed these rear shocks on my 2015 F350 Dual, Crew Cab, Cab and Chassis. Installation was easy and the dampers look great. Use a racquet strap to hold and adjust shock compression during installation. My only concern is that they only have 4 inches of shock compression. Since my truck has Timbren Load Supports in the rear, I'm not worried about the shocks failing. With smaller, not-so-strong factory bumpers, the impacts can hit rock bottom.

Pros
  • Great Design
Cons
  • Clarity

It looks like the damper may fail as the springs deflect.

So far they work perfectly. From what I could find they should work on non-lift trucks up to 2 inches. Overload springs that didn't even come close to hitting the stops, even with a 30-foot gooseneck, a John Deere 350 bulldozer, and a full-size Ford backhoe. I don't think these shocks will ever get a chance. We'll see when I bottom out and hit the lows.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive

2006 Ford F350 4X4 6.0 Power Stroke.

My 2006 Ford F350 6.0 Powerstroke 4X4 truck came with original 2" front and 4" rear jack blocks. It came new this way. I only mention this because these dampers work at this altitude. I have used yellow Monroe shock absorbers on my truck for many, many years. I didn't realize how bad Monroe shocks are until I installed these shocks. I live a few miles off a dirt road. The Monroe shocks didn't handle potholes well. I thought it was just the potholes and my 11,200lb suspension package that made…

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Dear
