Damn it, where's my hydraulics?

Replaced stock in 2005HD 2500HD with camper insert. Was added at the same time as the Timbren SES system, so there was a significant improvement in pendulum control and stability between the two updates. He's no longer confused with the lowrider in '90s rap videos.

Pros
  • Replacement parts
Cons
  • Slightly dented

The best shock absorbers for a work truck.

Bought these for my 2007.5 GMC 2500HD Z71 4X4 with about 1500 pounds of tools and hardware in the back. I was skeptical they would ride the rougher creatures that are camper shocks. They really impressed me with the ride comfort and handling, when I hitch my work trailer the truck sags a half inch like the factory shocks it sags an inch or more and I can hardly tell it's 75 down there -80 works. on the Autobahn as it was scary driving a 65 with stock shocks.

Pros
  • Automotive
Cons
  • Some little things

Excellent dampers/struts. Make no mistake with THIS brand!

Mounted on my 2005 Silverado 2500 HD and unfortunately crashed this truck in an entirely unrelated accident. I wanted to get the Bilstein out of the car wreck and save her, I loved her so much. But unfortunately. I had to let her go. I then bought a used 2007 GMC 2500 HD and couldn't wait to install Bilstein on it. They were installed just a few weeks ago. I use a truck to tow a 9000lb Airstream and sometimes around town. I also have Bilsteins on my 2003 BMW M5 and I think they suit this car…

Pros
  • Shock absorber
Cons
  • Cord shorter than others
