Bilstein 24 186674 Monotube Shock Absorber Review

I forgot how safe driving on a rough road could be until I installed them on my 2008 F250 Diesel. No shock absorbers can completely hide potholes on a truck like this, but now it really stays on the road and doesn't start to flap sideways. Worth the extra money. (Take care)

These seem to have the power. The only thing that disappointed me is the plastic sheath that is supposed to protect the shaft. Others use steel while others use brittle plastic.

I bought these shocks to replace leaking OEM shocks on my 2015 F-250 (no lift). Great fit and quality. The only gripes are that the ride feels a bit softer than the OEM and the front ends are stripeless (to make assembly easier).

These shock absorbers were not compressed and tightened as specified. So I had to use my weight and some wire to compress and secure them before I could install them. In addition, they drive well and the delivery was good.

I have no problems with these shock absorbers. These are good quality dampers. My three stars for the way they were packaged and shipped. Someone obviously didn't care. Oversized box containing a sheet of paper. The individual crates inside were opened at both ends and the equipment floated inside the shipping crate.
