Bilstein 24185219 Shock Absorber Light Review

These are excellent shock absorbers with over 165,000 miles on my 2002 expedition. Worn rubber bushings, no shock absorbers; So I decided on a new set.

my two dampers on the passenger side are completely gone. The driver's side was functional but not very good. all were completely rusted and looked like titanic debris. Day and night passed from here to here. looks like a new truck. If you still have the original shock absorbers on your 22 year expedition, please remove and replace them.

These shock absorbers are undoubtedly the highest quality shock absorbers you will find from any manufacturer. I replaced the fronts with an 01 f150 Super Crew, not only did it make the ride a dream, improved handling. Also, front end sag has been removed and the proper ride height has been restored. I would recommend it to anyone looking for the best money can buy.

I'm already looking for a replacement. 1 year in my truck. I hate them. I put them on late last winter and noticed they rattle, thought they were just going to snap. The rattling went away as it warmed up. ok summer Now back to winter 2017/2018, the rattle is back with a vengeance! I almost forgot, but then. Every time the weather is below 40 degrees they rattle like crazy, I hate them with passion, what a waste of money. I called Bilstein, they didn't help, they said it was not a warranty case
