Great Signal Booster

They are great for plugging into your hotspot to boost the signal. The base is magnetized so it sticks to every metal object we've used while camping and I've definitely seen an improvement in reception. , works great and plugs easily into the access point's antenna ports. I bought 2 sets and gave one to my relatives who are snowbirds who use their hotspot when they come to Florida for the summer. They also agree to the improved reception.

Pros
  • Great Price

Not for Verizon Mifi 8800

I have a Verizon Mifi 8800L. First, the bingfu antenna connectors are too loose when plugged into the mifi antenna connectors. They come out easily. So problem number one. I don't think that's the right connector. When testing with antennas outside and mifi inside, it didn't affect the signal. So I call BS on this antenna. Verizon Mifi antenna connectors are typical of other similar devices. So something is wrong.

Getting connected is worse than not!

I bought these for the Netgear LB1120 4G modem. I get 2-3 bands with no antennas so I was hoping to get 4-5 with them but instead I get 2. I literally turn off the antennas and get a different band. What? No antenna (internal antenna): RSRP: -108RSRQ: -17 If these two antennas are connected: RSRP: -109RSRQ: -18 No difference at best. In the worst case, they even break down the connection. Maybe it's my modem. I bought it used and these are the only antennas I've tried, but I'd be surprised.

  • Everything is fine!

  • I don't remember but there was something

Sprint MiFi 8000 (Band 25 and 26 in my area)

The magnetic base is an absolute joke! Buy outdoor double-sided tape if you plan to use it somewhere. The problem I had with these antennas was that they pulled the weaker and much further away 800MHz (Band 26) signal tower over the stronger and closer 1700MHz (Band 26) signal. 25). So I'm not sure if they really pick up the 1700-2500MHz signal. I'll do some more testing and if I find a solution I'll update my review. Otherwise I would suggest using a unidirectional yagi antenna. You can find…

I ordered this item to see if I could improve the performance of my Verizon 8800L Jetpack in my home office which also has T-Mobile, AT&T as Verizon. have bad service. I only got 1 or 2 bars out of 5 and about 5 Mbps upload and 2 Mbps upload. The product came quickly, well packaged and appears to be well made. The attached photos show the signal strength in dBm and the data rate in Mbps with and without the antennas connected. All readings were taken within 5 minutes. With antennas: -106…

Good Product: Network Products

I was hesitant to buy this product after reading the reviews, but after it arrived and tried it, it works perfectly. The magnets are strong enough to keep it in place. The signal constantly increased by 1-2 divisions depending on the location of my antennas. The only problem I see with them is that they tip over if you just try to put them on a non-metallic surface (so they can use the built in magnetic base). SIMPLY ATTACH THEM OR USE THE DOUBLE SIDED ADHESIVE TAPE that comes with the kit…

Couldn't affect my LTE signal in any way.

I purchased this product in the hope that it would boost my AT&T Nighthawk router's signal strength to the tower closest to my house. After lots of diagnostic testing, I found that external antennas had little to no impact on signal strength. I even used a piece of metal, placed the antennas 2 feet apart and kept them vertical as I've read that those methods work best. I then tried directing them towards the line of sight tower and even took them up onto the roof to see if that would help, but…

Works great

I was skeptical about ordering this antenna kit mainly because of the magnetic base. But the closest I could find was significantly more expensive and didn't claim as much profit. Anyway, this antenna set works great. No, it didn't get me an extra bar of service. I went from -112dB to -104dB, so I got 6dB, but that's not the most impressive thing. It doubled my download and upload speed. I ran a speed test on a 2.4GHz WiFi network and got 35Mbps and not 15Mbps. Download, about 1 Mbit/s went to…
