The base is magnetized so it sticks to every metal object we've used while camping and I've definitely seen an improvement in reception. , works great and plugs easily into the access point's antenna ports. I have a Verizon Mifi 8800L. First, the bingfu antenna connectors are too loose when plugged into the mifi antenna connectors. They come out easily. So problem number one. I don't think that's the right connector. When testing with antennas outside and mifi inside, it didn't affect the signal. So I call BS on this antenna. Verizon Mifi antenna connectors are typical of other similar devices. So something is wrong.
