Works great on my F83 with CarPlay mod. There were no problems with the straight (not L) plug as there was enough space behind the head unit. Perfect stable connection!

I don't usually write reviews, but thank you! Apple Carplay works great. At first my iPhone would not connect at all. So I bought it and it was easy. Just plug it into your main device.

Used it as a Wi-Fi antenna for my Android head unit and got amazing results. I simply cut off the connector and twisted the middle wire so that the only wire came out the back of the unit. It catches Wi-Fi almost 3 blocks away!

So I need these to have a stronger signal with my Wireless CarPlay. I want to be sure whether to go with OEM or this one, but I made the right decision. This antenna works perfectly and you can mount it behind your device so it doesn't get in the way.

I purchased this antenna as part of a project to enable Apple CarPlay in my 2015 BMW 420i Grand Coupe. My car came from the factory with an NBT EVO head unit and iDrive4 software. This meant CarPlay wasn't an option. I had to update the software to ID6 and also install a Wi-Fi antenna on the back of the head unit (BMW only uses wireless CarPlay. No USB option.
