These are lock nuts. Nothing more to say. I bought these to replace the nuts and lock washers on my new footpegs. Much better!

Didn't fit because I didn't measure it so it's MY fault. However, this is their size. The nuts are really great quality and I would buy them again.

Needed M8 junk replacement hardware that came with the UTV hitch receiver. They are of better quality and provide a MUCH stronger mount than the wrong size original hardware.

I don't know where these good reviews are coming from. I intended to use these jam nuts to thread onto the bolt leaving about an inch of the end of the bolt open to install another bolt or item of the same span. The first 2 worked great. The next three went as far as they wanted, maybe half. I couldn't move or take them out. I tried prying them off with a pry bar and the bolts clicked without even moving the nuts. I lost 3 rustproof M8 bolts and a couple worthless nuts.
