Not bad at $80, best in Hole Saws and Accessories

Considering that 'big brands' charge more for a hole saw, this set is a good investment. They worked well enough for a few holes, despite the age-old hardened concrete and hollow tiles. Cons: 1. The guide jet adjustment screws are plain M6x1 hex head screws, loose and prone to falling out. I replaced them with real M6x1 set screws and teflon tape. You could still withdraw every time.2. Be sure to grease the threads on the mandrels as they are not easy to remove from the hole saws. I needed two…

Pros
  • COMPONENTS: 9 PCS including 30, 40, 65, 80, 100mm hole opener. Connecting rod, setting drill, screw.
Cons
  • No instructions

They work well if used carefully. I've drilled a few holes in solid concrete and brick and they're holding up well. To get the most out of them, there are a few tips to keep in mind, but not all of them were good. The body is quite flimsy and probably won't last long, and the foam insert is cut too deep for the middle bits and shanks, making them difficult to remove. The bolt that holds the center drill in the shank does not last long: after about a minute of hammer drilling, it falls out and…

Pros
  • CONSTRUCTION: The connecting rod shank has a 300mm long SDS PLUS design that is convenient for use with a four-hole electric hammer drill. And the SDS MAX length is 300mm, which is convenient to use with five-hole round-shank electric impact drills.
Cons
  • There are new competitors

Very good core drill set, even better supplier customer service!

I needed a tool to drill holes in 8 inch cast concrete. Basement walls for installing a radon system. After researching a range of products and reading reviews I settled on this set as it offered multiple hole sizes and 2 driveshafts (SDS and SDS Max). The size of the pipe used and wanted to start with a smaller hole and only enlarge it if needed. For the drill motor I used a HF Bauer 1641E-B SDS rock drill bit. I started the hole with water to wash out the dust from the hole but it made it…

Pros
  • APPLICATIONS: Can be used to break up brick walls to install air conditioners, water pipes, water heaters, chimneys, drains, etc.
Cons
  • Available in white only
