This product has worked well for about 3 weeks. But after that, my computer won't recognize this external hard drive anymore. I have to keep turning it on and off. The computer recognizes it only once in thirty attempts. I've tried this on multiple computers, both Mac and PC. Nothing recognizes the hard drive. I tried my other external hard drive because I thought something was wrong with my computer. However, this is not the case either. I am very disappointed in this product.

It just connected with a USB cable as advertised. With Time Machine from my iMac it seems to be less. Poorly built. The data port is crooked, not assembled properly and when the data cable is connected it is very finicky so sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and now every time I want to use it it tells me I need to reformat the drive so twice now i lost my data.grrrrr.

The resulting disk didn't work on any of my computers, one with Windows 10, the other with Windows Vista. None of the computers could access this drive. No documentation was provided and all I could find on the company website was for an older model. On the plus side, the company was very cooperative in resolving the return for a refund.
