After 15 minutes the motor started to squeak

I'm returning this vacuum cleaner because I don't think it will last very long. After 15 minutes of use on the heavily trafficked carpet on the front and back doors and the laminate throughout the rest of the house, some problems started and I turned the machine off. The first problem was that the motor started to squeak, which indicated either a bad bearing or bushing. I removed the metal drive belt cover to see if anything was stuck and there was nothing.
