🔍 Bissell Crosswave 1866 Vacuum Filter Replacement Review

5 adults, a child and two dogs live in my house. We use a little bit every day. So I have auto-delivery filters, I subscribe and save. If you use yours at least half as much as I do, have a spare filter handy! And read the instructions for proper cleaning!

My filter that came with the vacuum started to bend and stopped sucking water. After replacing the filter everything is 100% again I have a normal bissell shear wave with cord, not specified. I gave 3 stars knowing I will have to buy more in the future, wish they had lasted longer.

As can be seen in the pictures, it is time for a replacement. The super dirty filter was what brought my original Bissell Crosswave vacuum. I recently used my vacuum with a new filter and you can definitely notice the difference. All dust, dirt and pet hair are sucked in thanks to the new filter. I will definitely keep buying this.

Works great, a bit pricey but I couldn't wait to get it so I ordered it. Fast delivery but I ordered more expensive ones and will wait for it. If the more expensive ones could get here sooner I wouldn't have ordered these. It's a good product, it's from Bissell, it's very good, only the price is a little lower, but that's what you do, when you need something immediately, you agree and pay.

You must purchase a Bissell brand filter to keep your petpro vacuum/mop working at full capacity. I used to make the mistake of buying a different brand of filter and the vacuum/mop didn't pick up dirty water when mopping, got clogged with dirt and didn't work at all due to reduced suction. I thought about contacting Bissell as I thought it was a problem with the sweeper but it was my fault for buying a different brand filter.

I tried the aftermarket filter offered here at Revain. They don't seal and the vacuum doesn't work properly as the suction power is much lower on aftermarket filters. I bought a Bissell brand filter and the vacuum cleaner works like new again. As other reviews have said, don't waste your money on filters from other brands. They cost more than aftermarket filters, but throwing away other brands' filters because they don't work is like just throwing that money out the door.

These filters did not work properly. The paper in the filter was the wrong quality and the suction wasn't strong enough to get the water off the floor. I had to visit the Bissell workshop several times to find out. The mechanic always used one of his filters to show me that the vacuum wasn't the problem.
