🐾 Bissell 97D5 Multi-Level Pet Hand Vac Filter Review

Very heavy. The design needs improvement as it's heavier at the back where the cable is located and not closer to where the cleaning takes place. Both of these problems make it come back when the user has to bend down to vacuum the carpet. Also quite loud. From the pros. Vacuums cat hair very well.

The pet hair vacuum associated with this product is the best product for removing pet hair from sofas and other fabric items. I use it a lot! I've had many and this is by far the best. I needed a new filter for it after it was long overdue to buy a new one. I bought this and it fits perfectly. Works as it should. I highly recommend the hand vacuum and filter!

I figured I'd save some money by just cleaning and reusing my old filter. Well it worked a couple of times then I noticed that no matter how much I cleaned it it just didn't vacuum with the same force as when I first bought it. Decided to buy a new filter as it was optional and cheaper than buying the regular price. God what a difference in suction power! I will be buying a few more to always have on hand!

I have two cats and they shed a lot. I can't believe how powerful this little vacuum cleaner is! The rubber nozzle helps pick up hair, while the plastic nozzle is ideal for cat litter. Other reviews note that air is blown out the sides and blows out the hair - I've noticed this but never felt it was a problem. I seriously don't believe how much this vacuum cleaner collects. One swipe and all cat hair is gone from my couches, chairs and blankets!

My Bissell was very bad at picking up pet hair so I washed the filter as thoroughly as I could. As a result, the vacuum worked even less, if at all possible. I bit the bullet and bought boxed replacement filters because it was cheaper than one. Wow! All the same! With new filters, my vacuum cleaner works great again. If my vacuum ever breaks, I'll buy one that allows me to clean the filter instead of buying replacement filters. But now I'm glad I have new filters for my Bissell.

The Bissel vacuum that this vacuum comes with is great. I've had him for 9 years now. I HATE it when I dump it after use and then put it back together. There is NO way to tell if the filter is INSIDE or OUT, and there is NO way to tell which is right side up.
