Although the booklet does not recommend the use of Bissell steam mop household cleaners, I have to admit that Pine Sol performs better than these aromatic discs in terms of cleanliness and fragrance . Also, they tend to burn and fade quickly after a single use, so I'll stick with Pine Sol (I haven't had a single problem using it on a steam mop and it's been over half a year!)

I find them too expensive but I still buy them because I like the way they smell in my house. I can get 4-5 uses of each. I just take the disc out once the pad is dry and put it on a clean pad, or if my pad doesn't look dirty I just leave it on and use the pad again. This is the same scent that came with the vaporizer when I bought it. It gives my home that flair that all model homes seem to have. I've tried making my own fragrance using essential oils, but nothing good has come of it.

When I bought my Bissell steamer it had the most beautiful sachet that made my house smell so clean and fresh. I bought 2 boxes because I didn't want to run out.
